HEAT RECOVERY VENTILATORS (HRV)

HRVs provide an efficient air flow by exhausting stale air and replacing it with pure fresh air that is tempered. Proper ventilation keeps condensation away from windows, increases the life of the building, ensures temperature and humidity control, and eliminates particles. Air is vital – improving its quality will improve your health.

Heat recovery

A heat recovery ventilator consists of a core composed of several ventilation channels and two ventilators. Channel interlacing expels stale indoor air (hot) and draws in fresh outdoor air, allowing heat transfer from one ventilator to another. Fresh air is thus tempered by expelled air.

Apparent efficiency specifications indicates heat recovery rate as a percentage.
