Electronic humidistat with liquid crystal display
Using the control buttons, adjust the indoor relative humidity to the rate you wish to maintain in your home. When the air humidity exceeds this setting, the device will evacuate moist air and replace it with fresh and dry air from outside.
This control model always displays the ambient humidity rate, detects variations in humidity with increased precision and calibrates its readings according to the ambient temperature.
If the humidity rate exceeds the highest setting, a symbol will appear and the air exchanger will evacuate the surplus humidity. You may also wish to operate your device at high speed. We recommend using this setting when you have many visitors or during prolonged cooking.

Humidistat
The mechanical humidistat controls excess humidity. When the humidity rate is greater than the value indicated on the adjustment knob, you can activate the high speed switch and, if needed, the interior exterior exchange switch. When you have reached the appropriate humidity rate, the humidistat returns to its pre-selected ventilation mode.
You can also check the ambient humidity rate by simply turning the dial from a high humidity level to a lower one and observing the level shown when you hear a click-stop.
You may also wish to operate your device at high speed. To do this, adjust the knob to the lowest rate of humidity (20%). We recommend using this setting when you have many visitors or during prolonged cooking.

Function: Provides the ventilation unit with high-speed exterior exchange for the following durations:
• 20 minutes
• 40 minutes
• 60 minutes
Hook-up: Colour-coded, 3-conductor wire provides a direct hook-up to the ventilation unit’s timer section. Four wires are required for model numbers 7200, 7210, 7250, 8230-5 and 8260-5.
